Story of trolley

While I was young, I was very happy to play inside a big supermarket in Malaysia. It was just a heaven place to me, with variety types of goods inside.

Hypermarket must be big. Hypermarket must have many parking lot. Hypermarket must have coin Toy ride. This is some characteristics must have inside my happy and lively town.

Why so big is because many types of goods are arranged inside. They have from fresh vegetable, fish, meat until packaged food. besides, some of hypermarket place dress, stationary. vehicle accessories and many more. I could say, all things we need is sold inside the market.

I used to shop many food, especially junk food when I was in high school. Just before returning to the school, I grabbed some packages of Maggie, Milo, Vico, Mister Potato and not forget to a box of water.
Bathroom things such as toothpaste and brush were also inside my list. This place was fantastic, all necessary item can be found, just in one place.

Next, the hypermarket also provide a very big trolley. This was I used to put all needed item inside. Although shopping in hypermarket is not a frequent activities, but I felt happy to walk to choose goods while pushing the trolly. It was just a new feeling that you can't feel anywhere. Some of my friends said , doing such things can release tension, isn't true?

This kind of trolley is suitable for people, who hold an amount of energy to push the weight, have a big family because they need to purchase many things and want to put their kids on the trolley. The trolley also is convenient because easy to see, so people without proper manner can leave the trolley besides their car. Easy to spot, then other car will not collide with this.

Besides, each counters have some unique features. For example, moving plate like a belt,where the placed item will go automatically to the worker. Moreover, you can see many types of worker who stand in payment counter, from white skin until to dark skin people. In addition, if an item has a problem in scanning, the counter worker will contact other worker to come help. There was one case I saw another worker come to help with sliding in his roller skates and holding a walkie talkie. Maybe it looked fun, but remember to think how problem can be solved quickly with this method.

Now, how about we look into another perceptive. To differentiate why Japanese are slim, besides their extreme diet is to look into their daily food shopping.

Their trolley separates between in 2 parts. First is trolley and Second is basket. Using this way, the buyer can choose either to take basket or trolley + basket. Usually only 1 basket is being put on the trolley, but maximum basket number that can be put is 2. You can see here the size is small, hence input items also are  less compared than other country. This is one hint for their psychology diet. In fact, Japan provides a lot of supermarket than hypermarket. So, less item can be found and the size of the store is small, effect the size of trolley become like this.

Different with Malaysia, their counter do not have moving plate like belt. This is because their payment counter is small, and all your items are inside basket, so you just put out the basket and place it in the counter. They will scan each item and placed in another basket. To do work faster, we need to take the basket filled with scanned items and move it into near table after we did a payment. On the table, we have to put the item ourself into plastic bag. Some of people here will bring their own shopping bag, in order to save money from pay extra plastic bag charge, or the people itself is conscious with environment.

Oh, they will put back the trolly to the original place after they moved all purchased good into bicycle, motorcycle or car due to influences of small parking space and awareness of people.
